K Robert Thurman, DMD

Dr. K. Robert Thurman is a native of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Colorado. He then received a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. Upon graduating from dental school, he completed a two-year general practice residency program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York. Following residency, he worked several years in private practice before returning to school for his post-graduate endodontic residency at New York University.

He is currently a member of AAE and the ADA. In his spare time, he enjoys his time with his wife and children.

Dr. Sara Fayazi, DDS, MS

Dr. Sara Fayazi, DDS, MS, is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Born in Tehran, Iran, Dr. Fayazi completed her dental school and Endodontic residency at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, earning her master’s degree with an Endodontic Certificate in 2006. For five years, she practiced as an endodontist and served as an assistant professor in Iran before deciding to advance her career in the United States.

In 2011, she moved to the United States and completed her Endodontic residency for the second time at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2015. Since then, Dr. Fayazi has been actively practicing. Beyond her clinical work, she has been involved in various research projects and publications, receiving an American Association of Endodontics award for her research project in 2014.

Dr. Fayazi is deeply passionate about sharing her knowledge through teaching and holds a part-time position as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Endodontics at UTHSCSA. In her leisure time, she enjoys activities like swimming, biking, and watching movies. Above all, she cherishes spending quality time with her husband and their two children.
